Yesterday (10 May 2021) I went to PEP Stores Tongaat to enquire about the OPEN VIEW PVR. I was then refered to PJ whom I waited for about 5 minutes to speak to. I then decided to speak to any staff member around. When they asked him (PJ) who shouted from the office "We don't sell Open View". I then explained that I'm enquiring about the PVR. He then said they PEP Tongaat don't sell such, I must rather go for a DSTV.

Ifound strange coz I bought my Open View from them.

On Sat I went to Pep store in Port Shepstone at Wooley Str to buy a cell phone. We stood more than 15 minutes at cell phone Dept unattended till asked a lady who was sweeping the floor if we can get any assistance.After a while a big Indian guy and told us needs ID and a bank statement as per Co. procedure.We confused why do you need Bank statement when I'm paying cash and we didn't understand each other and we asked for a manager. They told us the manager was coming only to the Guy has been there watching us Kevin and he told us the same thing.Since we were unhappy another black guy came and join the part as if he wanted to help us but no I guess he is the Hercules of the store because he pushed us then big Indian guy also join in we pushed outside the shop beating us in front of customers in store and the manager (Kevin) involved. I think a footage can be obtained at the store between 12h00 and 13h00. We then went to Ackermans then only for an ID and we had to buy an airtime of any value.

I've never been so disappointed and I would like a feedback on this and I will do a follow up everyday if I have to.

Morning! Mams Mall Pep Store says it opens at 9:00am but it opened at 9:20am, and your cashiers are so slow,the que is not moving. Their service is so bad.

I went to pick up my parcel at PEP Willowbrook Square
in Delmas Mpumalanga yesterday.
However I was yelled at by a cashier saying that they are very busy with customers and that I have to wait until they are done helping the customers that are waiting to pay. (the store was packed with customers and the queue very long)
I am on crutches after knee replacement surgery and cannot stand for long periods. They two cashiers called customers from behind me to come pass me to pay their items, making me wait. When I asked when they would me, the one cashier yelled that I should go the back of the line again as they are to busy to help with parcels.
I am dissapointed and appalled by their behavior and in PEP in general.
Furthermore, going back today fetching the parcel again, the lady got my parcel, put it on the counter and told me to wait so that she can help the customers behind me. I was furious!
I am reporting PEP and Paxi to Hello Peter and the consumer council.
This is not acceptable!!

I bought DSTV Explora on 3rd May 2021 price was R850.00 at pep stores Brits, Tom str, found it was registered on some body Name, had to return it for exchange, Manager said the price R999.00 is not the same i have to get my money back they cannot do exchange for as price is up, which is not fair for me as a customer believe i had to get that decorder with same price i bought, I have been doing up and down to the shop till now, Manager said she will get back to me, since i was waiting, this matter need to be resolved as soon as possible i cannot wait anymore. Bought a phone last year Nov at ur Cleary park pep cell....phone was causing problems took it in and nw they telling us the technician can't fix the problem...this is now my 2nd time that I'm sending u guys an email and nothing is happening must we just expect this pathetic service sis aha poor poor and poor never again disappointed in ur service

Bought a phone 2020 before lockdown
And after a month or so the phone started acting up and the screen touch stopped working
After level 4 we took it to pep stores centurion mall
Where the phone was booked for repairs in november
We did not hear anything from them
After some months we noticed WhatsApp on that phone active
We called the store and they told us that can’t be possible because the phone is not working
We asked where was the phone they said they will check for us
They checked and found that the phone was in their possession and in February I went to centurion to check it out and find out what’s happening
They told me that the water was damaged by water therefore it was rejected at the repair centre however they will rebook it as sometime they fix
Stanley the store manager assured me and said that communication will be send to the person who booked the phone in the first time
To date we don’t know what’s happening
I drove back to centurion before when I called they couldn’t help me they said I should come to the store with the receipt
Today I went there
The manager was said to be in lunch
And they said the phone has just been in the store
They don’t think it was rebooked
As a results they gave me the phone back and told me that it can’t be fixed .
Very disappointed with the service
Very disappointed by the way my querie was handled
A waste of money on a phone that was not even used more than 5 months

I wont to store in PeP store 0238 potchefstroom to do a lay bye for my daughter the casheir named kgomotso didnt scan all iteams that i was lay byng so the time i arrieve to the store to take ma laybye i was a problem that to pay other iteams saparate so that cashier gave us an attitude with bad face insteat of apologies for a mistake but i said its fine in ma life i wil never go in any PeP stores again and i will continue to spread this bad serveces to beloved

A staff approached me and ask for a slip,i showed her she went on asking to search my plastic I let her when I thought we were finally done she asked to search me,she literally touch me in my private parts.i have never been in such an uncomfortable position

PEP STORE IN NALEDI SOWETO TO BE EXACT IS COMPLETLY TRASH, MY GRANDMOTHER HAS BEEN GOING THERE FOR 6 FULL MONTHS TO MAKE PAYMENT TO ONE OF HER POLICIES AS THEIR LISTED AS A PAYMENT ISP HOWEVER FOR THE PAST 6 MONTHS TODATE THEY ARE OFFLINE, WHAT SERVICES ARE RUNNING, WHICH COMPANY AS BIG AS PEP CANNOT RECIFY A TECNICAL GLITCH FOR 6 MONTHS, CAN THE COMPANIES WHO HAVE ALLOCATED THEM AS A PAYING ISP REMOVE THEM AS TEHY REFUSE TO WORK. I bought alcatel tablet on the 4th of april 2021,I made a simswap because the sim card was too old not fitting on the phone,I waited for 3 hours,now the phone is off line stating if the sim no sim,I approached the manager at pep riverside view, the manager is so rude,didnt take me serious telling me that there is nothing wrong with the phone,as a customer am not happy her customer service,the manner she approached me it's not satisfactory am even asking myself that how did she get the position?She undermined me am thinking taking the matter to my lawyers.to handle the matter,I just need a refund or exchange of cellphone.its my personal number also business,am losing clients because of this device.

Bought a phone in Nov last year phone started acting up took it in Feb of this year...we went several times to go and check and not when the phone did come they told us the technician can't fix the phone and they can't give us a new one cause we have to fix it ouself I think that's unfair seeing that the phone is still brand new...so please tell me what must we do now...waiting on ur respons

I sent a parcel via paxi to a customer from Mall of the South to Ferndale. I chose the 7 to 9 days option. Same day I receive a sms that the parcel has been picked up by the courier.
On day 8 my customer asks for an update and I decide to check because a parcel that I sent from Southdale Pep a day before this one arrived in 5 days.
On the Paxi system there's no movement since the 22nd April. I call the number online for Pep Mall of the South and there's no answer. I try again a couple of times still no answer. I call the number for Ferndale. As I'm trying to verify if I've got the right store I'm put on hold.
I hold for about 3 minutes and no one is coming back to the phone. I hang up and try again for about 20 minutes. Eventually I think to call Paxi. I am assisted by a super friendly and helpful lady called Muriel. She assures me that she will get hold of them even if it means calling the store or regional manager. She calls back to update me that the store manager at Ferndale is not in the store but is going there now.
Eventually she calls me to tell me that my parcel actually never left Mall of the South. They marked the parcel as sent but kept it in the store. It will only be sent as from that day.
I call my customer who is panicking thinking I'm trying to scam her. So today I am refunding my customer and I will have to go to Ferndale to fetch my parcel when it eventually gets there. Today is the 11th day of the parcel being sent from Johannesburg Mall of the South to Ferndale still in Johannesburg. This will badly damage my business because of the reviews my customer may leave about me. I don't know if Pep Store cares about their reviews but looking at all the complaints I don't think they do.

on the 2 May 2021 i went to do an exchange at Pep in greenacres Port Elizabeth,i stood on the Line from 13:05 and was served at 13:40 only 2 cashiers were available but they have 5 till points ,when i asked to see a manager she refused to come out of the office ,2 cashiers were setting up devices for customers which is there is also a side for cellphones which there was no cashier available....finally the manager incharge came out she did not even apologise for rhe time delayed because already i was bussy with a cashier she came and overided the item amd left.I am not sure if that's 1 of your Values to not to care about the customer because feom the very first place it was month end but only 2 people helping wooow.Im very disappointed at Pep# Priscilla Ntsasa (manager pep)

The staff cashier Samkelisiwe Ntshangase & Floor Manager Matha could not help me to do my laybye instead i was given a stinking attitude. I was told i cannot do my laybye because the store room is full. How rediculous is that, it not my problem. But a customer before me was able to be assisted with her laybye. They told me to go to another Pepstore while im on lunch & I went to that store because it close to my workplace. Pep 0408 Pinetown mistreated me so bad & i will never goback there ever im also reporting this matter in every platform i know. Hope you will deal with this before the store closes down because of the staff attitide.

I went to pep Centurion Mall to do 2 sets of laybyes but on different days, went back to collect my laybyes and they managed to find 1, as the other 1 grew legs and walked out the store as nobody knew what happened to it, one lady there told me that she saw one of her male colleague tour the box and when he was asked were are the clothes he said he does not know. Now coming to the 1they found, they tried to release the laybye but it was not showing on their system (what time wasted) told them I'll come back the following day and I everything sorted as I was on lunch going back to work. I went back the following days and they managed to sort out the laybye that was not showing on their system, paid for it and I asked about the missing one and they didn't have it, I was really not happy about that as they told me to pick something from the floor that I wanted to buy. Told them that I did a laybuy to save sizes, best clothes and now the sizes are finished of all the clothes I picked before. I left the shop an unhappy customer as the manager could not assist, also the customer service department.to make things worse as I was leaving the store on the Mall passage I saw a pep slip on the floor, something told me to pick it up and guess what it was my laybye slip with my signature, id number, address, contact details the works and that slip was supposed to be in the shop as I had my customer slip. So someone could have use My id number Forged my signature to do fraudulent activity with my name or even worse still my money from my account.

As a club card member I have a problem, I think it was 2019 or late 2018 I went to the branch at Elukwatini where I did open my club card to complain about my points were stolen from my card, so the cashier was not able to assist me then I tried to call 086 number, they told me that I have 2 cards on the system and I also requested them to check when was the second opened and from which branch? I didn't get any response from them. Please help me to resolve this issue because I have only 1 Pep club card number as indicated above.
Otherwise I will take this matter to Court.
