I purchase a mobile device on the 28 July at mall north pep stores, manager was rude saying could not show me the cell devices, I must buy without reading the box, sold me a device that was on the show case, device has a visual fault letters not clear. Went to pep stores Savanah mall on 29th ,July to exchange for another mobile device. Manager was rude saying could not exchange and only at the branch where I bought the mobile. Disgusting service. Shame on you.I need a exchange and use to use pep for many years. Not anymore.
It is the 3rd time I have rude service at pep....disgusting

I purchased a HD decoder at the Mdanstane City Mall Pep branch, upon purchase I was told that an installation would be done few days after on the 14th of July 2020. Purchase bring made on the 11th of July 2020. This “ accredited “ installer has been so rude and has not delivered till today. He has been on our property but claimed he wouldn’t have enough cable , he has been inside the house and now I don’t feel safe because he has been so hostile and he is not answering anymore.

I hv purchased an HD decoder at burgersdop pep store with intalstion included and i paid R699.00 on the 13/11/2020

The installer arive Saturday 14/11/2020 and installed it ..after tht he demanded me to pay R400 for installation abd i did not hv tht kind of money

I tolled theres a voucher tht you must claim as agreed tht i will psy nothing because i hv paid the product with installation included at pep store burgersdop

The the guy uninstalled the decoder and left

Till today i hv not been assisted

So am warried if its how we being treated whn buying dstv products

I hv not even watched a tv till today its day number 4 since i purchased my dstv

Plz help me becaouse i hv payed my money thinking the services of dstv are good

I dont knw if iwill ever get my dish tht i paid for with installation fee included

i went to pep cell at midrand boulders shop no 4365, bought earphones around 10, found out they were not working, went back to the store around 11, and they told me they cant exchange them, i asked for refund and they still refused. i called headoffice and they not picking up. what must i do with earphones that are not working????????

Yesterday I went to Pep stores in Woodstock with my daughter. She is 5. At the door, the security guard told us that children are not allowed in the store. I sought to find out why but he just said it's company policy.

Because I didnt manage to buy anything, I went back today without my daughter. I was shocked when I saw a child with an adult, at the store, and, upon enquiry with the same security guard, he informed me that the child was actually the child or one of the staff members. I asked him why they allow children, when I was turned away.

He called the staff member, and at that point, the child and adult lady exited the shop. By now, there was a small crowd around myself and the security guard, with the staff member. She explained that she was the mother of the child, and that she was allowed to bring her child into the store as staff.

I told her that i found this hard to believe as I was informed that children are not allowed into the store, and I drove to the store to buy, was turned around, and returned today. In fact, why different rules for staff and customers when there is clearly an unfair use of rules?

In all this loud interaction, the manager stood afar and left her duties to the security who seemingly runs the store. The manager did not once come to ask what the commotion was about, in fact, she turned around after a while and continued with her duties.

I find it extremely shocking that customers are treated with such contempt at PEP. And I find the justification of 'staff members can do whatever they want to do', unjustifiable. I do not for once believe that that child belonged to the staff member. I am sure that it was her friend's child!

My question, then, is, am I justified in going to spend money at PEP if I will be met with security guards who will thumbsuck rules depending on who is coming to the store? Also, why are children not allowed into the store when mothers are at home with their kids? What should we do with our children? Should we leave them outside with the security guard or should we stop shopping at the store altogether?

As you know, ECD centres are closed. My daughter is with me at home 24/7 and I have nowhere to leave her. In light of the abuses against children in this country, does PEP find it justifiable that parents must make decisions to leave their children in the care of strangers or even leave them outside your stores?

Lastly, if Fidelity security guards are going to run your stores then maybe you need to inform the public and relieve your managers of their duties. The tone and conduct of your security guard escalated the issue at the slightest hint of an issue. I am sure they are trained to deal better with conflict and to de-escalate issues, not add fuel to fire.

I do hope that you will deal with this issue promply and seriously.

6 weeks ago I sent my to to Pep cell (small Street) for repairs and today when I went to fetch it, it was still in store and it had not been sent for repairs. Upon me complaining and calling customer service the manager took my phone and disappeared for about an hour then came back with my phone claiming it had been fixed. I took it and when I got home and tried to use it the problem still persisted, the screen still just goes blank. And the manager by the name of Xolani was very disrespectful by the way.

What do I do because I need my phone for work?

I went to Pep Cell store on the 23 July 2020 I bought a phone when I reached home trying to use it something was not right about it.On 24 July @ 9 :00 I took the phone back they refuse to change it. Customer care did not help and the area manager did not help they refuse point blank to take the phone back

I have sent an Facebook inbox to Pep Despatch saturday morning the 11th July still no reply.
There is an ladies boot that i wanted and there was only a size 6 on the floor. I took the boot and went to the till and i asked the lady if there is any size 8 in stock which she replied no! that is the only stock we received! and while i was talking to her to asked to phone a different branch which i will go and fetch she ignored me and went on talking to the other cashier. I said that you are rude and they went on talking and i mean there is only 3-4 people in the shop! I always get great service there but this lady looks new and that is how she treat your customers? You can go back on the camera and check and you will see i had the boots in my hand. All i need to know is where can i find a size 8 in the boot. I took pictures of the boot in the shop.

I bought a product at pep stores somerset mall on the 11 July 2020. I paid with my card and then their power in the store went out and came back on. I received the sms from my bank to say the purchase went off from my account. They made me pay again even though I said the payment went off from my account. The lady Sharonique said to me if I don't get my reversal within 24 hours I must come back with my receipt and so I did on the 12 July 2020. She said to me in the shop she needs a bank statement to assist me and not the receipt, I got so upset with her and she actually swore at me and said to me "YOU ARE FUCKING RUDE" I am so disgusted at how she treated me as a customer. I drew my statement and gave it to her, I am now awaiting my refund. Bad bad bad service!

My kid that is 2 years can not go into shop with me. You sell kids clothes but we are not allowed to take them inside with us. So where do I leave my kid - in the car? Pep cell P4821 manager is treating his staff unfairly. I am writing this with a pain in my heart.

How can a manager disrespect his staff like that, how can he undermine their dignity.

I don't want to be in more troubles with the manager by giving too much information but we ( p 27) are being treated like animals. He does not care about us. If you investigate the store on how p27 are treated when it comes to working hours, UIF claims and other labour related issues, you will have shivers down your spine.

On the 8th of july I went to kempton park at pep store to do a lay bye but to my suprises when I get to the till point to do a lay bye the cashiers told me that they don't do a lay bye for not more than five items and it's not written anywhere from their slip or any notice board the service is so poor.i believe when i get to the store they must serve me with good customers service because any cent count.

I would like to lodge a complaint regarding bad service that I received this morning from your Bara Mall Pep Cell branch. I went to purchase MTN data after queuing for about 10 minutes the lady behind the counter who was supposed to serve me was busy chatting on her cell phone & when I confronted her her about ths & demanded that she assist me she rudely responded that she has gead me but was still busy on the phone I must thus chill. I felt offended by her conduct towards me & left without been provided with a service. It is thus against thus background that I request y urgent intervention that action against this employee be taken by y good self. I am prepared to be your witness. My contacts are mentioned hereunder.

Hoping that u will take my complaint seriously & act accordingly.

Ask the cashier to check the balance on my multi choice account and it she said it's 450 I gave her R600 and the change was R152 meaning she put 448 instant of 449 when I get home TV is not playing now when I get back to the she said i must pay R50 which i don't have and the store manager said i must deal with the cashier she is not involved
