I would like to express my disappointment tonight in PUREGOLD San Andres Branch. When I was paying for what I bought they refused to accept my cash payment. My total bill was 600 pesos, I handed my payment to the cashier (200 paper bills and 400 coins (mixed of 5 and 10 peso coins). Then, she said that she will pass it over to the customer service first. When she came back to me, she said that they will not accept coins anymore because it’s already late and they have a lot of coins? What?? Then she asks why just now did I pay them the coins when it’s already evening and just come back tomorrow morning. What kind of attitude was that? I also offered them that I will personally count the coins in front of them but the other staff told me that it will give a hard time to submit it their superior because again they have a lot of coins and it’s already late.
Whether it’s coins or paper bills, it’s still money. Are they allowed to decline it? What if these happened to a senior citizen, cigarette vendor or a small store owner? Pandemic is still not over but they do these to customers. Please make an action on this. This is not acceptable.

My wife went shoppimg for few groceey items we need for the week at puregold commonwelth fairview ave. (near litex) as we usually do every payday, she finished paying and all the goods are in the cartwhen she remembered to buy two tubs of our favprite ice cream and went back to get some. She then asked the cashier to take a look at her cart where all the items in it was already paid the cashier politely said ok and assured my wife the items wont get lost, when mybwife returned to the counter to pay for the 2 ice cream tuns the cashier then pointed her to different counters my wife asked if she could pay it there because she only got 2 items to pay and her cart was already there but then she encountered a certain MARICEL S. NICANOR who rudely points her to counters far awayleaving her cart with paid items unwatched unsecured this MARICEL S. NICANOR also said to my wife "ikaw kc maam eh hindi ka nakikinig sa akin hindi mo sinusunod yung sinasabi ko!" in a loud voice like humilating my wife in public amd this MARICEL S. NICANOR also gossips and keeps on murmuring to your security personnel and following mybqife until my wife left the store humilating and shaming my wife in public. SHAME ON YOU PUREGOLD PEOPLE!!!! WE EARN OUR MONEY IN A CLEAN WAY SO WE CAN SHOP AT YOUR STORE!!! AND THIS IS THE TYPE OF EMPLOYEES YOU GOT WILL HUMILATE US IN PUBLIC INSTEAD OF ASSISTING US WHAT A SHAMEFULL SERVICE YOU GOT THERE PUREGOLD PEEPS I AM EXPECTING ACTIONS HERE PUREGOLD PEEPS THIS MARICEL S. I am very angry now. I went to puregold jr paeang marikina branch to have my groceries last October 4 2020 (sunday). I ate the yogurt . My tummy begins to crumple and i began to vomit. Then i check my yogurt is already expired Oct. 1, 2020. I will be attaching my receipt and the product. Is this the quality of service customer should received? The expiration date is october 1 and you allow those product to be on shelfs after it expires????!!!!! 4 days????!!!

I visited your puregold jr branch located at ground floor palm plaza building Tarlac city, it is written clearly on their door that store hours is until 6:00pm.

I was exactly 5:30 when I was about to enter their store, to my surprised, I was told that I am no longer allowed to enter as they are already closed, when there are just few customers inside, their tellers do not even have people on queue..

Is that really your policy?,I am a customer and I believe whatever I will be purchasing will still add to their sales..
No wonder why that store has few customers because of poor customer service and undedicated employees who have no care for the company that feeds them.

I just have a biggest complain. My mother purchased a Similac milk last week from Puregold. I still have the receipt and everything. We just found out that they sold us an expired formula milk.look, my son is suffering from LBM now and stomach ache It's very Frustrating knowing that they are one of the popular and big store but they selling expired formula milk! ako po ay nanakawan sa loob ng establishment n nagkaka halagang 11k amg katwiran ng management hnd lahat ng anggulo nkikita ng CCTV , malayo daw ,, sir Hnd lang po ako ang biktima meron pa po ibng biktima sa Store n yun n parepreho lang ang modus , ang protection ay nsa kanila lang dahl kpag ang tao nahuli nila x10 presyo pro kami ang nanakawan gnon ganon nlng po ba yun wla na baliwala nlng po kami wala daw po sila magagawa sa amin o matutulong,, may video n po cctv re s ibng Biktima n nsa FB narin,, Yung akin po ay nsa pangangalaga ng Pulis station 7 pro yung area san ako nkuhanan hnd nmin ma view ng police, ayw po ako bigyan ng kopya dahil my pinirmhan dw po ang police para iwas narin s pag post sa FB ulit,, yung dalawang biktima po nagkaka halagang 40k at yung isa po ay 100k naway matulungan niyo po kmi lalao nat s panahon ngyon nagdaranas tyo ng kahirapn po sa buhay at yung nanakaw nga sakin pang gamot ng nanay ko yung 8K don sana po mabigyang pansin niyo po ako salamat po

Hi, nag withdraw kami kanina sa puregold hagonoy taguig city dahil ito ang pinaka malapit na may atm machine samin. Then nakain yung card ko ng machine, we are not aware na hindi okay yung machine dahil walang post na offline or what and hinayaan lang kami ng guard mag withdraw. After that nalaman namin na pangalawa na pala kami na nakakainan ng atm card then pinakausap samin yung supervisor, as per supervisor hindi na daw nila fault yun. And sabi namin hindi man lang naglagay ng post about the machine. And bigla nalang kami inalisan. Paki sabihan naman yung mga tao at supervisor niyo ayusin ang service nila. Tas kami pa mag aasikaso ngayon ng pagkakamali nila.

 Good day! I'd like to raise a complain on what I have experienced today Friday, September 18, 2020 at Puregold Jr. Baclaran branch ( 160 QUIRINO AVE AND EVANGELISTA ST. BACLARAN PQUE ) where I was felt embarrassed because the cashier at counter 1 named Ailyn was very rude and ill mannered.

  So the story goes like this, I asked her if she has the QR code for gcash payment coz I I cashless payment for safety and thenshe informed me that gcash payment are available only at counter 4 or 5 I guess. I politely asked if she can get it so I can use it, she told me to line at counter 4 if i will use gcash. I told her i wanted to use my gcash and why can't she processed it. Then she started to showing her attitude on me. She stamping/ making dabog on the products specially the whole chicken 3x before she scanned it. I asked her if she is mad and she started to raise her voice on me. She told me I need to give the code for gcash, and I simply asking her to guide me where can I find it then out of nowhere she snatched my phone and use it without my consent. What an amazing experience! Never felt embarrassed in years buying groceries at your store. I talked to one of the team leads of the store if I can get an email for customer service.

   And for the record, I understand that they're tired because of a lot of customers and everything but that doesn't mean we have to be rude to our customer. It's part of their job to work under pressure. I'd love to raise this because I heard from other cashiers that she is very rude for those customers like me using gcash as payment for the groceries.

It was so frustating incident i have experience in PuregoldJr Baclaran branch, All cashier having long line and I was in the express lane in which 12pcs allowed, unluckily, there was a customer first in the line with 4 baskets with her and we ask the supervisor why it happens?and she just replied,we need to wait until the transaction finished, She do not even give emphaty to the customers at the back who fall in line carrying 12 items only. There were 3 customers walk out including me because I could not wait for long time in the line,indeed,before I enter the store I need only important items so I can go to express lane counter, Please investigate this incident at review the footage of the cctv around 6:15Pm today September 18, 2020. Only 3 cashier available and very long line,try to catch those customers who walk out and so upset, there was a supervisor roaming around wearing redpoloshirt, she just looking in the area and do nothing even she did not advise the customer who has 4baskets right before approaching the cashier, she could have do alternate solution on it, Please hire a supervisor with a quality mind set, has since of urgency and ownership, the staff seems hurrying to go out at 7pm. I was upset because I have wet items in my basket chicken and pork but I went out because it would take 30minutes to finish that customer with 4baskets in the cashier.

I would like to complain the Lady Guard named Lavonzo or Lavonza if I'm not mistaken. (Did not able to catch the exact name but pictures and video provided.)

The scenario happened at Puregold Evacom, Dr. Santos Sucat Paranaque Branch.

I am about to go out at the Puregold building around 6:00pm. As SOP in all grocery establishment, the receipt need to show to the assigned guard. Holding my receipt which is quite long, I am trying to find the top of the receipt to place the marker as the usual procedure. (I experienced the mark was put on the item list and gave me a hard time to check the prices).

The scenario starts, ----- the lady guard is such in a hurry and I told her, "saglit! Hinahanap ko pa ung umpisa." Not sure if she find my expresion quite sarcastic considering there are no one behind me or line to be in a hurry. Then she make face and roll her eys up.

Then I try to explain that I don't want the ink to be place in the item list because.......before trying finish my explanation, she started talking and giving words that really shock me.

Me: Ate bat nagagalit at nagmamadali ka?
Lady Guard: Sinasabi ko na kasi sau na ako na ako na tapos pagsasalitaan mko ng ganyan......... ---- Until such I couldn't understand anymore all she's saying because she talks really fast and lot of words.

Then I feel a bit angry, I told her, "If nagmamadali ka, eh di mag out kna..

I guess that triggers her to really get mad.
She shouted at me and keeps on talking until I heard words that is tottally BELOW THE BELT.

Her words are like - Lady Guard: Siguro babae ka kasi ang bunganga mo ganyan. Matindi kapa sakin magsalita mabunganga ka. Babae yang bunganga mo di ka lalaki. Sinu ka sa akala mo.

Me: Ate irereport nalang kita sa office nyo. Wala ako masama sinasabi sau Ate, andyan un lalaki sa baggage counter. Naririnig nya.
Lady Guard: Magreport ka wala ko pakialam. Anu sa akala mo aatrasan kita. Subukan mko. Umakyat ka sa taas magreklamo ka.

Then I pulled out my phone and started to record her on a video. When I giving her the camare to burst out all her anger, she just keeps on walking away, hiding her face and avoid nagging me. Whike me keep on saying, "Ate anu meron sa taas? Ate sobrang below the belt ka ah.. Bat dka makaharap?..

I shouldn't take off my cam because the moment I stop recording her on a video and step out and stayed on my cart waiting for my Uncle Ed to pick me up.

She keeps on talking on her table and even go out at the glass exit window to shout and nag at me in her native language which I really don't understand if she is cursing me, saying foul words or anything.

Luckily the Male Guard at the Entrance is kind enough to stop her and keep asking me to ignore her and apologizing.

With that, I decided to go at the second floor and look for the manager to ask what is the agency of the Lady Guard to file a complain. The Lady at the card information helped me out to get some information. Although I waited for about 10mins because no one seems would like to cooperate.

Going down and exiting, I pulled my cart and heading exit. I look at the Lady Guard for she might need to see my receipt again before going out. But she gave me such a deep stare as like a tiger look.

Then I confronted her, told her,
Me: Ate bat ka ganyan makatingin? Lalabas nko at aalis anu pa ba problema mo?

Then she started again nagging and talking regardless how many people around and even if the Male Guard at the Entrance trying to stop her and calm her down.

I pointed my finger at her with my arm bent because I am starting to feel really mad and keep on telking her, "Ate wala ko sinasabi sau masama. Kanina ka pa below the belt."

Finally my Uncle Ed arrived to pick up. I told my Uncle about the Lady Guard and my Uncle confronted her in a nice way.

My Uncle approached her and then she told my Uncle.

Lady Guard: Halika sir, ganiti kasi yan, yang pamangkin mo kinakausap ko ng maayos kasi napaka pangit sumagot.

That is the time, my patience gone out and shouted at her, "Sinungaling ka!! Putang ina ka!! Kanina ka pa.. (Pointing my fi ger at her) Hindi kita pinagsasalitaan ng below the belt. I even give a strong punch at the table.

As expected, she replied furiously saying the same thing and pointing my finger at me as well. Lady Guard: Putang ina mo din!! Anu sa akala mo!!

The most shocking part is: She acted and gave me a gesture that SHE WILL PULL OUT HER GONE!! In front of my Uncle and of all people around.

Luckily people around her stop her. But i told her, "Bubunot ka!? Bumunot ka.."

She turn around instead and get her "batuta". I decided to go out because the scene is too scandalous already and we are getting too much attention.

I asked my uncle to get out and I want to go home. But the the other Lady Guard told me that the OIC is Cerrudo M.A.S. is about to come. So we waited.

While waiting, the other Lady Guard is talking to me and asking me to forgive her becauae she is old, tired and everything.

I told her I can forgive her but she shoudn't reacted that way. "Kapwa mo guard sya, sa tingin mo tama ung ginawa nya?" She respond, no sir.

Until the OIC finally came in and told hone everything.

Here is the bottomline:

I may sarcastically respond to her or not, she should not reacted that way. Customers are not always right but she cross the line.

She is under JR8 Agency, regardless if her Agency or Puregold Jr. will do something about this, give her a sanction or not, even if I put everything in social media, the impact is at your company that will have bad reputation, credibilty and will be put at risk.

I do my researched and found that there are lot of complains in Puregold guards in different branches.

I felt a bit trauma for what happened due to the scandal, with her actions(specifically when she wants to pull a gun then holding her baton (batuta) and with her strong deep words. I am even thinking to sue her as well. Becauae of this, I feel like a need to move and be member of other establishments that has the same service and offer your company have.

I have been member and customer of puregold since 02/03/2020

Gud day!!!around 4:40 knina namili ako sa puregold crosing calamba.tumagal ako ng halos abutin ng lampas isang oras sa pila pa lang at transaction ng cashier sa express lane..take note express lane pa yun..nung mga 5.00pm or 5.10 naipatransact ko na ang pinamili ko then nag ask ako kay cashier kng may echo bag kc mag aavail ako..then sabi ni cashier wla ..sinabi ko kay bagger at cashier na mkikisuyo n lng na pabox na lng kc di sya pwde sa paper bag lang kc mabubutas agd...then umalis si bagger para magprovide ng box..i dont know kng kukuha ba tlga sya ng box kc mag 5:30 na hnd pa sya bumabalik sa sobra tgal ng pinag antay ko at sa nasayang na oras ko ..sinabi ko na kay cashier nawla na ang bagger mo di na ata bumalik..sabi ni cashier naghahnp p daw ng box...kmsta nmn ganun katagl almost 30 minutes ang hnd n bumalik.then sabi pa ni cashier nag ririfill pa daw kaya wlang box..so meaning si customer ang mag aadjust?kng kelan matapos magrefill don lng maiibox ang pinamili ko....omg nkkagulat lng na service ng puregold crosing ..bakit ganun,? It is very simple problem pero ang service nila sa customer ganun..napakdming bagger na umaligid don sa counter pero di man lng pinpansin yung counter na halos ie napending n ang transaction dahil lng sa kabagalan ng service nila....

Puregold in Balibago Angeles City Pampanga was selling CDO kaong already expires past March 2020. It was already 6 months expired and I accidentally purchased it through the grab pabili. I personally went to the store to talk to a manager or supervisor but they didn’t entertain me. Im so disappointed!

Last september 4,2020 ( Friday), I decided to go to PUREGOLD MERCEDES to buy my monthly groceries. I was wearing an eyeshield and facemask that time but unfortunately the ladyguard named MS. G ( I forgot the first name) did not allow me to enter the grocery store because im not wearing a FULL FACE SHIELD and said that is the policy of their store BUT i was very frustrated and angry when i saw a woman exited their store handling a bunch of paper bags wearing the EXACT eye shield i was wearing that time so i approached the ladyguard and she said ' Ayy mam, nakabreak kase ako hindi ako ang nagpapasok nyan.' It was very unfair on my part so i insisted and said i want to talk to a higher position or their manager/supervisor but she keeps on telling me ' Kame po. Kame po ang kausapin nyo nalang'. I decided to comply and bought a full faceshield near their store and fall in line. As i fall in line, a man ahead of me whose wearing a HALF FACE SHIELD was allowed by the SAME ladyguard to enter the store so my anger burst again so i decided to go straight ahead on their customer service section but to my disgrace the woman there did not accomodate my concern immediately and said that her supervisors were to busy to talk and instead handed me a complaint sheet. I am in the field wherein customer satisfaction and good quality of service are the utmost priority and YES i am a frontliner . I think you should emphatize and understand the situation that we have a busy schedule and little time for other stuffs and let us say that is the only time that i have to buy my daily necessities. Please train your guards and other staff to be more vigilant and not to be rude to their customers. I want your necessary sanction for this incident i encountered.

September 5,2020 6:08 pm(time of my receipt) we all know that puregold are in the row of service industry. nadismaya ako sa service ng Puregold Masiit Calauan Laguna because sobrang tagal namin sa pila ng cashier (137 Rose ann ) kasi po meron palang pinapunch na iba-ibang orders or scattered orders na i found out that yun po yung mga pa bili sa staff ng puregold (JIYCO print in shirt) kaya sobrang tagal. Nakakapagod po tumayo in an hour para pumila samantalang sa ibang counter is continious lang sa pila .Sa sobrang tagal nagpunta po ako sa customer service desk to reach out yun nangyayari dahil wala naman naka on floor like manager on duty to supervise and see whats happening in the store operation.but sadly after i reached it out to the personnel in the CS desk(girl in red vest) was not able to resolved our complaint.in short wala siyang ginawa instead siniraan nya p yung kahera na mabagal daw talaga kc bagong hire na kahit hindi naman talaga mabagal si kahera kundi mali yung sistema nila s operation.Dapat sana nagkaron cla ng sariling pos para sa punch ng mga take out orders hindi yung kaming customer sa physical-store is hindi na naaasikaso ng maayos. Pati yung manager on duty wala sa operation tapos yung customer service desk wala din resolution. Gabi na nung natapos kami sa counter. Until tinanong nalang namin if nasan c manager kc gusto namin cya makausap para aware cya sa operation niya.ending is naghintay na naman kami ng matagal ang sabi ng staff is my ginagawa daw yung manager kesho ayaw nila ibigay name nila at yung name ng manager. Ayaw nila ibigay name nila . Sana if complaint dapat i-prioritized nila hanggang inabot kami until closing ng puregold saka lang nagpakita. Worst management! So disappointed!!! Compared sa ibang branch ng puregold .Sana ma aksyonan po ito. Ty

My husband and I waited for 30 mins in lines, when were about to enter puregold MINDANAO ave. Lady guard named Irene Nunez/Nuez refused to let us enter simply bcoz we are wearing half faceshield? We are wearing facemask and "half?" faceshield. How can u be so unreasonable when u didnt fuckin post or simply display a signage that indicates the proper faceshield that the cx should be wearing!! I asked the lady guard where is the signage that says my faceshield is not acceptable! She just point out the No facemask/faceshield No enter signage! SM HYPERMARKET NEVER DID THIS TO US! They are accepting our "half" faceshield how come you didnt??? Also, she just offer to just simply buy a new faceshield instead that is acceptable to the facility. Are u fuckin kidding me? Im not going to buy a new one just bcoz u said so. Does she know were facing pandemic right now? We are not faceshield collectors! PLEASE PUREGOLD MINDANAO AVE. HAVE UR GUARDS GO TO SEMINARS AGAIN THEY NEED PROPER KNOWLEDGE HOW TO HANDLE CUSTOMERS plus Revised your so called "policies" which is a total garbage.

Pumila ako around 330pm, natapos ako ng 530pm, dun sa pila pang 6 ako, syempre given na marami ung pinamimili ng mga customers,kaya din matagal. pero nung ako na talagang ang bagal,walang 4k pinamili ko, nakikipag daldalan pa, then sinabi ko na separate receipt ung una kong nilagay, twice ko inulit, kala ko naintindihan nya,sinabi ko nalang na "di mo ba ko narinig?" sana naman maging attentive sila sa mga request ng customers. And the way ilagay ung product sa kabilang side wag naman ibalibag,bakit nya ginagawa un,isipin nyo din na nagririsk kami para lumabas at bumili, tapos ganyan pa!!I hope aksyunan ito ng management. Im writing to complain the facemask and face shield policy, i am driving a bike and i use my own helmet as my face shield to fully protect me.i also use my mask, i don't understand why base on the policy I have to buy another face shield brand to enter the facility. On my experience, i am the 5th person on the line that was denied entry just because we have our own helmet as face shield at that given time. The guard was insisting the policy without even trying to understand the buyers and the redundancy and unnecessarily requiring to buu another face shield to use inside. At this time of pandemic, every one needs to maximize money, without having to require ur loyal clients unnecessary expenses. Number a helmet is proper protection as a sheild, number two and most important of all, it will now minimize the need tk occupy space and worker manning the baggage counter, coz we are not needong to leave our helmets anymore. If security is of importance, helmet users can be asked to lift helmets upon entering and replace then after recognition from camera.

I am complaining puregold jr guards in moonwalk paranaque and management for being unable to properly handle and be malleable to situations like this.
