Hi i have signed an 12 month fibre contract with vodacom unlimited R650. The first week was good but now its lagging and can barely use it, its like we are throttled but its supposed to be unlimited.

Contacted Vodacom I get SMS STATING there is money
I ask for a bill there is no bill send on email
I send mail to customercare@vodacom she transfer the call waiting 20 min I dropped the line. She stated I need to get hold of 0821946. I called them today they dropped the line as their systems are down. How it this my problem to try and get a bill!
So to resolve this:
1 I REQUEST A BILL to trace on my accounts if this has been paid
2. I REQUEST PROOF OF HOW VODACOM contacted me since 2019 to get this paid.
3. Is prescribed dept in action here?
4. Why do I have to pay cost if I was not aware of this bill?

I've been trying to cancel my out of contract number since NOVEMBER 2020. I've been billed and billed and billed for a service I haven't been using in almost 2 years and I finally stopped paying in February.

My other contract number is now suspended as my account is now in arrears after I was promised there would be a credit passed.

Vodacom I am dissapointed in you - you are now just like Telkom and Eskom and any other company in this country that doesn't give a damn about service delivery.

After years of loyal support I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I even received an email saying attempts to reach me have been unsuccessful but every time I get a call and I answer it just rings and rings and rings until it cuts off so it's YOUR OWN SYSTEMS that are failing you.

Bought and iPhone 8 in 2018 for my daughters birthday and she blocked her password after only using phone for 2 weeks. I went to Vodacom store and handed my iPhone8 to Vodacom Technician who promised to unblock phone with Apple company for me. He was a black male and I trusted him as he had Vodacom clothing on and promised to contact Me when phone was ready. After 2 months I was hospitalised and put off work for 6 months. During this time I did not receive any calls from Vodacom technician with regards to iPhone 8.

I then stopped paying for iPhone 8 as I was not in.possession or using the phone so did not think it's fair that I should pay for a phone I don't have. Vodacom then handed me over to Nimble Debt Collectors for an amount of R22 762 as bad debt but fir services/contract I did not benefit from. I settled R22762 with Nimble Debt Collectors and called Vodacom to ask for my iPhone8 back but the technician who took it from me in 2018, said it is no longer in store (no trace of its whereabouts). I then knew that this technician had stolen my iphone. I opened a case against Vodacom and technician, namely,Pmburg Cas 185/05/2021.

Vodacom refuses to reimburse me with the money I paid to settle for a iPhone I never used since 2018.

I am very disappointed and disatisfied at how I have been unfairly treated and robbed by Vodacom, a Big network company who I have been with since my first cellphone in 2002.

Good Day, I email Chatz Cellular on the 10th May regarding my contracts and I still have not heard anything. My father went in on the 5th and received a reference but that's the only thing I got. I no longer live in South Africa so I can not call or go in. Who do I complain to?

Called cancellation department on 24/3/2021 to cancel data contract, was not in arrears. Had to call again on the 29/3/2021 to follow up and had cancellation escalated again. Called again on the 06/4/2021 and was advised it was definitely going to be completed. Again was not cancelled and have been charged for 2 months now - putting my account in arrears as I will not pay for something that I cancelled. I then had to call again on the 07/5/2021 and was told that they won't help me as my account is in arrears, however this cancellation was requested when I was not in arrears and it should have been cancelled on that first call, I should not have had to call back time and time again. After waiting on this last call for more than 45 minutes I got a reference 1-34989171198625 however when I try to follow up on this I am advised it's closed however they cannot and will not give me feedback. This is a Vodacom issue and they should have cancelled my contract on that first call and not charged me these additional months and I don't believe I should be calling again and again to try resolve this nonsense. They are lying and trying to take my money for their lack of work.

I would like to dispute the arrears amount which is R1941 for a contract of only R199 p.m

The contract was initially suspected within 90 days and I had no access to any services but the amount kept going up until almost R2000 which I think is unfair when the services were suspended and I had no access to any data.

The agreement was I pay 199p.m to get 20gigs of data a month.Its unfair that I did not get any data but the amount accumulated in full.

I lost my job due to the pandemic and was able to pay this account.

I would like to settle the amount in full provided you do your subtractions for an unnecessary 6 month period this bill accumulated in full.

Vodacom has not responded or provided me with the correct amount or resolution,infact vodacom replied with someone's Settlement letter stating his confidential details. I also think that's illegal due to confidentiality clause.However this kind of service exposes Vodacom's poor handling of service.
I was further told Burnard raaf withdrew from the account on several occasions and thus needed to wait from Vodacom from feedback but nothing came of it to date.i constantly called 082 1905 for help from 078 *** **** but I was giving wrong each time thus now I can't settle this account is clearly wrong.

I have had the displeasure of dealing with the Vodacom call center (082 135).

last year November ( 2020 ) I called on behalf of my director to request a few cancellations on his account,
the consultant that I spoke to ensured me all was in order and these requests will be adhered to.

it is now May 2021 still nothing has been done , I did a follow up on Tuesday the 11 May 2021 and apparently spoke with a team leader / manager who said he will request a call log and have the issue resolved asap, it is now a week since than when ever I call they say this guy is busy and will call me back yet they never do.

finally yesterday I got through to another supposed manager who said he will find out what's going on and why there is a delay with getting the call log and will contact me back , now 24 hours have passed and when I call him I'm told he is busy and will call me back.

Yet again a full cycle of nothing being done being done to resolve my issue, this process cannot take this long neither is this acceptable treatment for long standing clients of Vodacom as both my director and company make use of Vodacom with multiple contacts on each account. we don't receive any feedback or basic communication from this department and they refuse to take actions for there short comings.

please provide me with relevant contact details of someone who is willing and able to help resolve my issue.

I am a very disappointed customer. I took up the contract with Vodacom last year June and the insurance as well, I never skip any payments and I've been a loyal customer for years. On Sunday I lost my phone and I went to claim yesterday then I was told that my claim won't be approved due to the usage of the sim card that came together with the phone. To my surprise when the event occurred the sim card was together with the device, the only problem is that I was not using that sim card regularly with the device and when I sign up for the insurance it was online I was never told about the terms and conditions regarding the insurance, all I know is that I am paying the insurance for the device and even now the insurance is active. So now Vodacom wants me to continue paying for something that I don't have anymore but the insurance is active. I still have one more year to pay for this phone and yet you are telling me that my claim won't be approved. Its not my fault that your staff didn't do their job by not explaining the terms and conditions to me and why should a sim card be a problem knowing very well that my insurance is active. If you decides not to approve my claim I am not gonna pay for something that I lost. I have 3 contracts with you and all of them are due for an upgrade but you are not treating me well. I need someone to intervene in this matter and solve my issue because if I continue paying it means I will be paying for nothing . Your urgent response will be highly appreciated.

Vodacom Notification: Our records show that your debit order has returned unpaid. Please make a payment at any Standard Bank, FNB or ABSA bank. For enquiries please call 0821946

How could you not receive the payments if you guys took R1327.98 out my account as well as out of my wifes account with no permission that add up to R2655.96

Your response will be highly appriciated as i will be getting the onbutsman involved and i would br lodging a complaint by ICASA by tomorrow afternoon if this matter is not resolved as with all this payments and payment s that you guys took with no permission from a account..

Then the 2g as well on my phone is gonna be wanted from we where i have been trying to stop this over and over

I had a contract for two numbers 0828561427 and 0662989985 and on the 23rd December 2020 was the last day of the contract. I refused to upgrade due to their bagged me promising to resolve the matter and I then upgraded only 082 number. The bill me for 066 number also though not upgraded and I called their call centre not once but they don't solve the problem. Please help before I block them from my bank please.

I were due an upgrade on my phone. Visited Vodacom Shop Cresta 12/05/2021 12h08. Sales consultant ENSLIN.
I asked about the best deal on upgrade. The price on the contract doesn't agree with the advert for the product as advertised on the webpage. I only noticed that on arrival at home. Furthermore there is no charger for the phone. Upon phoning 011 678 0778 Enslin admitted that he should have told me the charger is an extra cost and not part of the package. I also noticed that the simcard of the new phone was not in the box.
I spoke to the manager at 16h10 this afternoon, the 12/05 and told him I want to cancel the contract and want a refund. He told me no way can I cancel the contract.
As a consumer it is my right to cancel the above mentioned as the terms and conditions as stated above were not probable explained to me, I was only asked to sign and the consultant told me the contract will be emailed to me. I am not able to open my email as I am not able to charge the new phone.

Please advise why I cant cancel the contract.

I have canceled my contract but money was still deducted from my account for February. I have contacted Vodacom numerous times discussing this matter with them but with no solution. I was given a supervisor (Ishmael) contact details after insisting on speaking to a supervisor. I was informed by Ismael that it would be done in 3 weeks time. I waited for that time but received nothing. I was informed via email that it would take 5 working days. I have waited but again received nothing. I again messaged Ishmael regarding this and was informed the money is in my Vodacom account and will be transfered to my bank account in 7 working days. I did not give permission for the money to be transferred to my Vodacom account but requested it to be paid into my bank account. Why is this so complicated and why are you purposefully delaying to repay my claim??????

Good day, I had a contract with Vodacom 0606387419 number which was supposed to be until October 2019, but after October I still received the services from Vodacom until February 2020 I went to the Vodacom store and asked for the cancelation of this contract and I was given a contact number to call their head office and request from them. I called and explained that I was no longer interested in the contract and they gave me the outstanding balance, after that I made a payment and in January this year I found out that I still owe Vodacom. On the 23rd January I phoned Vodacom to make arrangements to pay this balance because they told me that was what was due and that my contract was not canceled.I made it clear once again that I want this contract canceled and that I was not going to pay again if they continue to do what they did and not do the cancelation. According to the arrangements I was going to finish paying by March and before the agreed date I went to the Vodacom store and paid the whole balance. Last week I again found out that I owe Vodacom and when I contacted your head office I was told that the balance is for April invoice because when I was done with the overdue balance they opened my number and gave me their services. I have tried several times to communicate with you and to cancel this contract. As far as I'm concerned I don't owe you any money. Can you please have this sorted. You can investigate this matter and clear this account from me.
