I will never ever deal with Bradlows again, I am totally unhappy with service being received which i will now take action in informing the ombudsman.


Firstly- My TV screen was damaged due to ongoing monkey issues in our area where monkeys came into my home via the burglar guard and when my wife screamed they damaged my tv on their way out, to date I am still waiting for a response as to how its going to be resolved as I am without a TV currently and this incident was totally beyond our control.

Secondly- When I purchased goods including the TV I was supposed to be informed by my sales person that I would need to take out insurance should anything happen to the TV screen.


Thirdly- My invoice shows NIL due but you guys keep debiting my account!!! Why????

Fourthly- If R758.00 is debited from my account and the last months balance shows R10861.00 and the following month R758.00 is debited, how can my balance be R10570.00????????

Please resolve this issue asap or I will take this further

My experience with bradlows has been extremely appalling.I purchased the avatar lounge suite in a year and 2 months I started to notice cracks and a faulty recliner,I reported to the store and on the 21/02/2020 they fetched the couches ever since that it's been a living nightmare.Instead of repairing my product it was brought back in a far worst state then what I had reported, but still I continued to pay my account until the same product was brought back to me on 2 other occasions.I stopped paying stating my reasons instead of resolving my problem the store was so quick to hand my account over as a bad payer and mess up my credit status although they have failed to resolve my problem.It's been 9 months me and my family are sitting on the floor.I've had it with the store had it with the store all I want is a full refund and I'll to a store that will value me as a customer.

Upon looking at both my accounts
The one account (15873661 ) is in credit of R432.98, this money needs to be transferred to the other account I have with you guys ( 17178043 )

The call I got today stating I didn’t make payment is incorrect ,you guys allocated it incorrectly

The statement you sent me doesn’t match what I have

Please rectify this issue , and remove the extra charges for calling me coz it’s you guys that messed up

no payment has been made this month as i await for this issue to be fixed and extra charges removed

please note i have contacted teh ombudsman and thier advice is , the first step is to log a formal complaint , hence

i have been trying to resolve this issue from the 16/10/2020

I settled my bradlows account with the amount that was on my statement but you guys deduct on my account and when I enquire you telling me that the amount that was on statement was wrong my refund will be hundred and something instead of 285 which is the amount you deducted after I settle my account and you promised to refund me October because you deducted on September now is November I still have not yet received my money I don't like the treatment you guys giving me and I hope you not doing the same with other client always think about this matter when your company dont reach their target its because some of your staff are pretending to give good client service while they dont.

i have sent more than 30 emails to Bradlows Greenacres to send me my contract before we can conclude the deal and delivery to take place with no sucess.

i have received the delivery with the documents still have tried to call the head office to kindly assist with no luck.

Hi my name is Nonhlanhla Mthethwa I bought bedroom suit last year Feb 2019 only 2 find out that the people that were mounting my headboard 2 it in bad way ending up making a big hole on 1 of my pedestal I went 2 the store @ JABULANI mll Bradlows and reported the matter on the 24 of July they came to my place 2 collet the pedestal until today i haven't received my pedestal is been 4 months now I wll never buy anything from Bradlows ever again they don't have customer service I've been trying 2 cll them they keep on telling me that they a still bizzy with the matter up 2 now

We purchased the Europe Lounge Suite from Bradlows in Chatsworth , Durban in October 2019. Since then we have had endless problems. We had to return the lounge suite three times for repairs , i.e. the sofas were sinking in , the stitches were not neat after the repairs and there was a thumping sound on the arm of the single seater. Now this is the final straw as we noticed that the leather is peeling off. We complained to the store and also asked for the customer service no. for us to call as the sales person is incompetent. We had to call and enquire with her for feedback when our lounge suite was previously sent for repairs. And every time the Manager of the Store is not in. A week has gone by with no feedback from the store or customer service.We were given e ref. no. and told that they will contact us . We want a refund to purchase a lounge suite elsewhere or Bradlows must allow us to choose a totally new lounge suite. The Europe Lounge Suite has given us endless problems ( its bad luck , it had too many faults ) and if the leather- look can peel off with-in one year's time , imagine what condition it will be in another year's time . l always thought Bradlows to be a reputable store with good quality furniture but l was mistaken. We have purchased from other furniture stores but never had such problems. l most definately will not purchase from Bradlows again once this problem has been resolved .

The new Bury mk11 3pce action lounge suite delivered are damaged. They are teared up, and the 3 seater back rest is not clipping in. I am absolutely not happy with the service. I don't understand why I've been given reject items. I want these couches taken back and be given brand new ones as I'm paying a lot of money for this item. I expect good quality product as soon as possible. I do not want repairs, I want them to be taken away and bring Branch assisted: Khayelitsha mall

It is so disappointing that I buy things from your store and they came twice still in the same condition I took mattress on credit I have not even paid the first installment but it already makes a funny sounds the seven peace that I bought the doors are can't close properly twice I have complained and they keep on bringing the same things with the same problem I even reported this on hello Peter and you guys don't even respond its my first time doing business with and am totally not happy with how you run your business and how you treat your clients I cannot be struggling like this for something that I bought cash and something that am still going to pay for.... Guys am leaving my worst nightmare because of this store on the 3 November 2020 for the third time the pedestals and the chest of drawers were brought to my house just before 8pm and there was load shedding in my area the store manager together with 2 drivers came to deliver OK the pedestals were fixed the chest of drawer had the same problem in the morning when I wake up I see that now when the drawers where putting in poked a hole on my headboard I think when they where putting in the pedestals the bottom corner hid the headboard and you know the funny part is they saw the hole and choose not to tell me because it was dark due to loading shedding and the guy said to me some of the mistakes you won't be able to see now you will see it when it's bright in the morning and exactly what he said is what I saw in the money to say am tired of this store is an under statement and like I said this company has no customer service at all

Since March i have been calling bradlows they dont ever answer their numbers until i went to Pietermaritzburg branch and they confirmed to me they never pick up the phones i must just send an email to them.

I sent the email and i have been in communication with Aldridge Jennie (Customer Resolution Ref : Centre #2677017) and They said I must forward this email to the finance department. but finance department is not responding or acknowledging the receipt of emails. it has been over 2 weeks since i have sent the email to them, no one has called me.

Please see below my issue that i have been trying to get assistant on for months now.

I did an ONLINE order last year. My intention was to do a layby but when I went to a branch they couldn't find that layby, they said it might have been an order . They said I must call head office because I did it online. I have been trying to get hold of head office but they never answer the phone.

I request my money to be refunded to my account. I made a payment of R3000 on the 14th December 2019. Using the reference number I was given 800003926. From Capitec savings account number 1218135482.

We brought a leather 3PCE lounge Suit at Protea Glen Bradlows last year 13 April 2019, and two it started cracking in we called them and reported at their stores and get us this reference no Mo-Gomma-20191217-7447. They only came to collect it in February 2020, after months of calling and going to stores, with no communication, they didn't even tell us we have to pay and how much we must pay and we told them we not gonna pay because they still 2 years guarantee.
We kept doing followup but not getting any help. We kept going to stores but getting different stories always telling us about the supply. They brought back one piece not fix we told them we don’t want it until they fix it, we call Evonne from their supply she was very rude to us. Until now we still waiting
I will never buy from Bradlows ever again, they don't respect their customers Bradlows must tell us what is the meaning of guarantee

In June last year 2019, I bought a bed that was on special in Bizana, it was a queen bed, I bought it cash,I bought it because I was moving out at home to rent,the room I was going to move it to was on renovation for just a week, the shop was out of stock when I bought, then I was told they will order it in Kokstad, then when it arrives I was called and advised i must come fetch it, then I asked the manager to please wait for me for few days my room is not ready yet but I can come anytime to fetch it, then he agreed, when my room was done I went to collect my bed, I was told the bed was sold, at that moment I couldn't go back home I had everything with me and said goodbyes, I asked for my money back so I can go buy somewhere else, the manager told me it's not easy to do that, it's a process, then what must I do I asked, he suggested to give me another bed, it looked nice in my eyes, but only to find it was a f**ked up bed, after 3 months it broke, I could here the springs, it has a huge hole, I am even putting continental pillows and blunkets to bust it up, I really loved bradlows, I couldn't pass without going in and check its beautiful stuff, but after this bad service I hate it with all my heart, I never went in ever since that day, all I need is my queen bed I bought or my money back, I am very very angry and disappointed

Bradlows offers the worst costumer service in the world. We have been waiting for a mattress for 6 months now. Every time I call the manager or go into the store they say they will get back to me. I am still waiting. How difficult can it be to exchange a mattress. I don't even want to give one star. They don't deserve it.

I parchased 4 piece sofas in May last year last and when it was delivered we noticed that one piece was damaged, the sofa falls in when you sit on it, we have since laid a complaint with the Secunda branch where the sofas were purchased from its been more than one year of going there and calling but nothing has been done up to this day.
